Sales rose across Deal of the Week even as inventory stayed tight
The one fact that changes what you should do right now: buyers are still buying. The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 234 homes sold across Deal of the Week in the three months ending August 31, 2026. That is up 27.2% from the same months a year before. At the same time, the number of homes for sale fell 23.6%, to 305. Demand held up even as supply shrank. That means pricing and timing still matter a great deal.
Freddie Mac put the 30-year fixed rate at 7.24% as of October 29, 2026. That is not a small number. Yet buyers kept moving. That tells you something about how much demand is still out there.
Pending sales across Deal of the Week reached 233, up 3.1% from a year before, according to the Real Estate Data Aggregator. That pipeline is healthy. Sellers who price well are still finding buyers.
